Heart of God International Ministries

HEART OF GOD INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES

Dear Victory Baptist Church,

Words cannot express the depth of gratitude we feel as a result of your generous support designated to the Heart of God Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. As you know, the needs continue to present us with new challenges as the people continue to live in survival mode. Although a few weeks have passed, urgency still exists. Without your help, people would be facing starvation, disease, and resultant death since many of the efforts of the UN and other NGO’s have been unable to reach so many people. You ARE making a difference!

If you have been following our website’s blog (www.haiti.heartofgodinternational.org), you have a fair idea of some of the challenges we have been facing as we continue to meet immediate needs consisting of food, drinking water, and shelter which offer some semblance of normalcy for the children of Camp Victory. However, our biggest challenges lie ahead as we begin to develop and fine-tune a plan for long-term stainability.

Your continued prayerful support will make it possible for us to achieve our ultimate goal of permanence and self-sustainability for as many displaced Haitians as possible, including the rebuilding of our educational programs while providing critical assistance to 110 Haitian orphans and 50 elderly.

Please continue to help us by spreading the word to your friends, employers, organizations, co-workers, church/synagogues, and associations. Young and Company, CPA’s, in Rochester, NY, is matching individual donations, doubling the impact of your contribution. Heart of God Haiti, networked with Heart of God International Ministries (HGIM), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (see www.heartofgodinternational.org), has an all-volunterr staff and Board of Directors working out their respective homes to minimize administrative expenses. While donations to the ministry’s general fund help sustain operations, 100% of your designated donations go directly to support relief efforts in Haiti.

Thank you again for your generous and timely response to the crisis in Haiti. If you have any questions, or if we can serve you in any way, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Respectfully,

Dave and Julie Young
Executive Directors
Heart of God Haiti
