Thank you for the information on the mission blog. I hope you remember us, I took Joe to China with me last year and had a blast. This year he went with Woody (our country rep.) and I had surgery and was unable to accompany them.
Because we work in restricted countries, we are limited in what we can put on the internet. If we use names they must be fictitious so we are limited in our reports. However, a man named "Tim" was recently arrested 5 times for his faith. His training center (underground seminary) was closed down in May, 2008. Now he is a fugitive, not able to return home as the authorities are after him. He has had 180 students graduate from his training center since 2004. This is the price many are paying for the spread of the gospel in China.
Thank you for the support you are giving us both in your prayers and finances. We will be leaving soon for Nepal to train more pastors and Christian workers.
